Yes. We claim on the spot through HICAPS and accept all Australian health funds, including St Luke's, Medibank, Bupa, Teachers Health and Veterans' Affairs (DVA) dental services.

Yes. Interest-free plans, including weekly payments, are available through National Dental Plan or Humm, subject to approval.

In our experience, St Luke's covers most general dental needs well. Members receive two no-gap check-ups, cleans and fluoride treatments each year at our practice.

Dentists differ in when they choose to intervene with early decay. Research suggests early decay that hasn't formed a cavity is often best managed with fluoride and monitoring rather than drilling, because a small filling can lead to larger fillings, a root canal or extraction over time.

Not just because they contain mercury. Intact amalgam fillings are durable and the mercury is bound within the filling. We'd only recommend replacing them if they're cracked or failing. We don't place new amalgam fillings, mainly for appearance.

Most people should have a check-up and clean every six to twelve months. If you have gum disease, a high risk of decay or implants, we may recommend more frequent visits.

Medicare doesn't cover most adult dental treatment. Children aged 0–17 whose families receive certain government payments may be eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) — contact us before booking to check.
